Taormina, Sicily

What is the best way to gather others to split the cost of a tour up to Taormino? I have had no luck with finding others on our cruise and do not want to spend a huge $ on a tour solo. Any guidance would be awesome

PS - we are on the September 9th sailing of the Navigator out of Rome.

All tours that we booked with others from CC were done through our roll call. Some don't get active until very close to the cruise and others (like mine) begin way in advance with the super anal planners like myself :D

Why not take the train and public bus?

 

Get off atTaormina-Giardini Station, 45 minutes from Messina, 8 euros return, and then get the frequent bus up the mountain to Taormina itself.
