I have been watching the Grand Princess 4th sept sailing for prices, not for me my mil. If most of the cats are guranteeonly, does this indicate the ship is nearly full.

About 3 weeks ago that cruise was only about 65% sold...then there was the Father's Day promotion with some nice decreases. However there have been some funny things going on with pricing and final payment date has passed. But bottom line is that if that cruise is important to you then you best book.

Thanks for your input, its not for me I'm all sorted on the Crown. Mil wouldn't pay price said it was to expensive. So will not cruise this year and see if priced are cheaper next year. I don't think they will be

Putterdude, how do you get the information on how sold out a ship is? I would think Princess or any travel agent would want to inflate the numbers to get you to go ahead and make a booking? I would think they would want to keep that number secret
