Hi, do they have any Royal Promenade parades? Also, if it rains, is both Boardwalk and Central Park all open to the weather?

There are two parades during the week. Both Boardwalk and Central Park are open to the weather. They do provide umbrellas by the entrances to Central Park when it is raining.

got back from Oasis on 6/23. There are events & parades in the Royal Promenade. One night there was a disco themed event... it's really cool, try to get a seat at Cafe Promenade or Sorrentos on the outside edge so you can eat & watch everything. Another decent vantage point is to watch in the Schooner Bar (1 deck above the promenade), it overlooks it & is less crowded.

 

Central Park & Boardwalk are open even if it rains. But, be very careful, it's really slippery when it's wet out. We had a brief 5 min heavy shower one morning around 9am. There's golf umbrella stands at each end of the Central Park (by indoor elevators) where you can borrow an umbrella to walk thru & deposit it at the other indoor end. Very thought touch by RCI!

 

My favorite little eat area was the Central Park Cafe. Think an upscale bistro with sandwiches, chips, make-ur-own salads.
