njoyndride Posted July 1, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2012 I'm a couple of weeks away from final payment and was going over my check-in stuff and hit the print docs just for a giggle and lo and behold it says VIP on both my luggage tags and booking summary. DH and I are gold and in an 8A but I did book a Players Club special pricing cruise. Does anyone know if Players Club get VIP embarkation? While I would love to go through the shorter lines and hang in the VIP room :) I don't want to get turned away and have to trek back out of the terminal because I don't belong there, a different kind of "walk of shame" :p. We are sailing from Miami on Liberty.
Randisoko Posted July 2, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2012 This was happening to me, as well. Alas, they have now fixed it :(

If this next sailing takes you up to 75 days of sailing, it is my understanding that they go ahead and place you into the next level, which would make you VIP. VIP boarding is great, hope you get to use it!
ladylikes2cruise Posted July 2, 2012 #6 Share Posted July 2, 2012 Happen to me when I printed out my docs for my cruise last week( was only on cruise # 9) so I printed them out, boarding pass, luggage tags. Gave it a shot;) Lo and behold, they sent me to the VIP checkin, no problem They had to go somewhere else to get the cards, but, they then escorted us to the ship ahead of everyone:cool: Don't worry, they will not make you go back out to the main boarding lines So if they are still showing VIP, print them out asap:D

njoyndride Posted July 5, 2012 Author #10 Share Posted July 5, 2012 Just to close the loop I just made my final payment and my boarding docs say VIP. I'm just curious if it has anything to with the fact this is a Players Club booking? I thought the discount on the cabin was enough :D .
AZ Karaoke Girl Posted July 5, 2012 #11 Share Posted July 5, 2012 I booked a back to back cruise this Dec to get platinum and when I printed my docs, I have VIP on all my docs & luggage tags including the 9th cruise. It is not 75 days as the previous poster said. 75 days in the new program but some of us have until Dec 2013 to complete 10 cruises without having to do 75 days - thus the reason for my back to back.
