Umbrellas in cabin?

We are going on a fjord cruise this Saturday (on the Oriana) and wondered if umbrellas were provided in all the cabins. Weather forecast not good and we still like to go exploring.

Suites and mini suites have umbrellas, but I don't think other grades of cabin do. Best take one. We got back today and have NEVER seen as much rain as we had in Stavanger and Olden.

We're on this cruise as well, and having had a look at the weather forecast for Norway for next week, we'll be packing an umbrella too. They don't provide them on P&O, I'm afraid, so best take one..... and don't forget your wellies :D

Take a golfing size umbrella. We were so thankful we had one as it did help protect us from some of the torrential rain.

I would take a waterproof jacket with a hood, much easier when walking around .

Although we were sun bathing lol when we were there at the end of may!

But the first time I went to fjords we too had mist and rain.

The scenery makes up for it !;)

A waterproof jacket with a hood was no match for the rain earlier this week. An umbrella was essential - a LARGE umbrella.

Take a ''Pac a Mac'' it is essential in Norway as like here rain can appear even on a sunny day.
