CENTEX CRUISER Posted July 3, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2012 In checking excursions for our 4/07/2013 Mariner cruise, I see a private cab for up to three people for $375.00 for 4 hours...Is this a typo ? You can get Eduardo in Coz for $95.00 for 3 hrs plus $25 per additional hour, and I can get Victor in Roatan for $80 for the 2 of us for as long as we are there. Is this just the cruise line trying to gouge, or is this a mistake? I have never seen this tour offered It is tour CZP1 and there is one with a van for more . If it is ligit, would anybody pay this ?

There are lots of people w more money than brains. There are also lots of people who are deathly afraid to take an excursion that is not sponsored by the cruise line. I will bet that they have no trouble at all selling it. DON
bighairtexan Posted July 3, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 3, 2012 WOW. Does it include entry into some pricy venues? And meals? I know in the past w/ various private tours, they often included snacks but not a meal and we had to pay for admission to things such as a butterfly farm etc. But still, that's a HECK of a meal and a LOT of admission tickets for that price difference. I rarely even look at the cruiselines' excursions any more. 40pp vs 125! wow.
callmewhatever Posted July 3, 2012 #5 Share Posted July 3, 2012 All cruise lines overcharge for their tours. I rember once a bus tour that we took got hubby I and 3 kids on it for less than the price of 1 adult that the cruise line was charging.
