Terrence Richards Posted July 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2012 Does anyone know if the staterooms on the Disney Magic always had security peep holes or where they installed recently? Cunard Queen Mary 2 is presently installing the security peep holes on all staterooms. Evidently, a new security law went into affect during the year for cruise lines to complete the installation if none were installed. I read the information in the Cunard thread here on CC. poncho1973 Posted July 10, 2012 #8 Share Posted July 10, 2012 I was wondering why security was going to start watching me sleep. Now I know this was just a oddly phrased question.

AKK Hi Tonka's Skipper, I recently sailed on the Disney Magic in May. My stateroom on Deck Seven had a security peep hole which was a first for me after all these years with Cunard ships. On the Cruise Critic Cunard thread, there is an entry there about the security peep holes being installed on the Queen Mary 2. I have been on the Queen Mary 2 once a year since 2004, and there were no security peep holes in the stateroom doors, at least the ones on Four and Five deck where I have been. The installation has to do with a new maritime law. Terrence
