gbenjo Posted July 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2012 Am considering a cruise to NZ and wondered what the preferred time of year would be for such a cruise weather wise. We were thinking of maybe November????? Any suggestions.
callmewhatever Posted July 4, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2012 From memory we have done both Oct & Nov cruises to NZ. Some places we needed a jacket and other times we took them off. Our next cruise their will be in Feb but I have been told we will still need jackets than. What ship do you plan on going on, some very good deals out there at the moment if u can find them. Happy cruising. :)
Kiwi_cruiser Posted July 4, 2012 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2012 The weather around New Zealand in November is normally not very warm or very nice at times. The weather around New Zealand normally is better and warmer between Decemeber - March

kiwijohn Posted July 5, 2012 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2012 As a Kiwi I have always found the best time to travel in New Zealand is early March which I know is late in the cruise season. The weather seems to be more settled and the kids are all back at school.

Have to fit the cruise in without missing too many turnarounds at the OPT and December is one of the busiest.(but Thanks for the offer) By the way Dave....... what exactly is it you DO YOURSELF????:D:D:D
