Please compare Celebrity to NCL, RCCL.

I am thinking of taking a Celebrity Century cruise. How would it compare to the cruise lines I've gone on: NCL, RCCL? I am especially interested in good entertainment and efficient service.

IMHO NCL and RCCL have better entertainment than Celebrity. Service on my last Celebrity cruise was a litter better than NCL. Have not been on RCCL in 5 years so I can't comment on service.

We hade had good service on both but X is a step above RCCL. A little more formal - no towel animals. More of a European feel to how they treat you - not as casual in tone, a little more reserved until they gauge how you respond to them. The ship itself is more refined than RCCL, more upscale but not snobby. Food - no comparison, X wins hands down. Dining room service feels more formal and there is no hesitation for extra food or requests. Entertainment is good but it is not a wild party ship. The lounges empty out rather early - most of the late night action is split between the casino and the disco.

Wolf has it right 100%. On a ten point scale; Celebrity is a 9; RCI is 6; NCL is a 5. Better food; better service; more "bang for the buck!"

I would take Celebrity over each that you have talked about. The main production shows I feel are a little better on Celebrity over NCL but the lounges have much better bands and singers on NCL. Food I give the edge to Celebrity but I have never had anything but good meals on NCL. Service goes to Celebrity by a fair degree. I also prefer to have set meal times and service over the freestyle used by NCL. We have not been on RCCL for a while and are going again this summer but the time we went I felt it was poor when it comes to the other lines. I hope we feel diffrent after our trip on Voyager this summer. Just my views.
