liznosnow Posted May 10, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2005 Does anyone know if the D1 hump cabins on Serenade would be o.k. for traveling with our 13 yr.old daughter? Is there a pull out sofa? If not would they allow us to put an inflatable mattress there for her? Thaniks for any help. Liz
Merion_Mom Posted May 10, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2005 They will only allow you to book a cabin for three passengers if there is bedding for three. In other words, there is either a Pullman bed or a sofa bed, if they say that it can carry 3. Carol
mringenoldus Posted May 10, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 10, 2005 Use travelocity.com to see which cabins are able to accommodate 3 people. They will have a small circle below the cabin number if you look at the deck plans. Cruise ships are not like hotels. They limit the number of 3rd and 4th passengers based on the ship's capacity and cabin availibility.
Honey's Gal Posted May 10, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 10, 2005 The D1's on the hump have a larger pull out sofa. It should be fine. I have no idea how comfortable they are, but I am sure you could ask for an egg crate just to be on the safe side. I love these cabins. We try to always book these if at all possible. You will love the cabins and the location. Just so centrally located, it makes it so easy to maneuver around the ship.
