informal night dress

Just wondering about normal outfits for dinner. Will short sleeves be okay or will it be too chilly? I'm sure they have heat on if necessary. May be a silly question, but this is our first time to Alaska. Would have no trouble packing for balmy caribbean nights!!

Short sleeves are fine but make sure you pack a sweater or shawl. It can sometimes get a little nippy. I always bring a sweater to the dining room and then if gets warm just take it off.

Most dining rooms are cool which I like, but my wife is always cold in the dining rooms.
