3 Days in Bermuda--suggestions please!!

We will be cruising to Bermuda on the Dawn on July 20th. We arrive at 11:00 am on Sunday at King's Wharf and depart on Tuesday at 5:30 pm. Some things we are considering are High/Afternoon Tea at the Fairmont in Hamilton, Horsehoe Bay Beach, the caves, and Gibbs Hill Lighthouse. We also thought about renting a pontoon boat to tour the island but not sure yet. This is our first time in Bermuda and we'd like to make the best of it while we're there. Any suggestions as to what we should do on those days would be helpful. Thank you!!

We cruise to Bermuda every fall. Our Favorite.

Horseshoe beach should be on everyones list. Spectacular. You can see lighthouse after horseshoe (time depending) since it's in the same south shore beach area.

You can ferry over to Hamilton for all shopping, much better then the clocktower mall at Kings Wharf.

On your last day in Bermuda, Snorkel Park is a 5 minute walk from the ship, it's nice to spend your last few hours if you wish. I'll post a few pix of horseshoe and snorkel park for you to see.

Snorkel park is NOT the same as Horseshoe. You will see why for yourself.

One year we selected a taxi driver in hamilton by personality. We found the perfect one, Mr.Tucker.... We wanted a tour of the south shore beaches before and during sunset and also someone to take our pictures. We didn't know he loved photography as much as we do, he gave us the best memories on print! Fort Scaur at sunset is so beautiful and very romantic :)

PS... that orange dot on Horseshoe beach is my DH reading. Had the beach to ourselves, happens alot.

Once your on the beach, looking at the ocean, if you walk all the way to the left and go either thru the rocks (low tide) or over the path, it takes you to lots of more private beaches!!!

Fort Scaur at sunset is so beautiful and very romantic :)

Two years ago we flew to Bermuda and stayed for a week. We rented a scooter which let us go any where we wanted. Once day we were heading to the Dockyard and stopped at Fort Scaur.

It's small, easy to take all in. And it's beautiful and gives one beautiful views of a small cove and the ocean. And if it's clear you can see all the way to the Dockyard. LOVE Fort Scaur!

We were there just as sunset was happening, OMG so beautiful. I have never seen a sunset like that in my life. Professional photographers were there to "capture that moment" and get the one great shot.

We just got back from a B2B cruise to Bermuda and had the best time!

I agree with all that Carrie said - also, purchase a 3 day transportation pass (it gives you unlimited bus and ferry rides) and go to St. George's. The ferry ride takes about 40 minutes, but the views are wonderful. In St. George's visit the oldest Anglican church, the unfinished church, Lili Perfumery (you have to purchase a bottle!) and Tobacco Bay. St. George's is not as busy as Hamilton and Dockyard...very nice.

Also, don't forget to go to the sea glass beach that's about 10 minutes away from Dockyard. There are several posts about it and it's very easy to find. We brought back pounds of sea glass!

Enjoy your trip!
