at horsehoe...how far is the water from the dropoff?.

i will be taking the taxi down the hill...have looked at many photos but can't tell where the rental building is and how far the walk is to the water...thanks for any help...

The hill is the hard part. Once you're down there the rental shop/gift shop/snack bar is right there. The water is a little further. It's not long.

The distance from the parking lot to the water is about 400 feet; from the parking lot to the rental building, 200 feet.

It is a steep hill for anyone with problems walking, but for $2 you can take a shuttle up and down. We walked it but it is a hike with bags and stuff going back up after a good day swimming with the waves.
