robcassell Posted May 11, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted May 11, 2005 No tours of the engine room/bridge/kitchen/etc?
shuggee Posted May 11, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2005 Hi, my 2 mates were offered a choice of either a bridge tour, kitchen tour or a backstage theatre tour on the Jewel but that's only because they are Diamond Plus members. Apparently when you reach this grade you get one tour each cruise.

bob brown Posted May 11, 2005 #6 Share Posted May 11, 2005 The Voyager class ships have a "peek-a-boo" bridge overlook so that you can be a "backseat driver". It is open most of the time, except that at night, they close shades to block the light shining through which could spoil their night vision. I like to compare my hand-held GPS with the ships instruments. I have requested bridge tours, and have been told they are no longer offered due to "increased security concerns". Apparently, some lucky souls can still get them if they have cruised enough times.
superjerryw Posted May 11, 2005 #7 Share Posted May 11, 2005 No tours of the engine room/bridge/kitchen/etc? Those tours have essentially been eliminated for security reasons.
