Ferry from Dockyard to Hamilton

Once we dock at Kings Wharf, we plan to take the ferry over to Hamilton and have tea at the Fairmont. Does anyone know how long the ferry ride is and also the walk to the Fairmont? Need to make reservation for the tea, so the travel time is important. Also a suggestion to do something else in Hamilton before heading back to the ship would be great! Thanks!

The ferry ride is about 20 minutes and the walk from the ferry terminal is around 10-15 minutes. When you leave the ferry terminal, take a left onto Front St and just keep walking. It will be on your left.

I would suggest the ferry at 1:45pm or 2:00pm. I visited there in May, and the Afternoon Tea was fantastic. Can't wait do to it again.

Before heading back to the cruise ship, window shop on Front St.
