Alaska 2006

Has anyone seen or heard of the 2006 HAL Alaskan Cruise schedule. Also which HAL ships will be making the journey?

You can find all of the HAL 2006 Alaska itineraries in the 2006 Cruise Planner. I picked one up from a local travel agency just the other day.

 

The ships coming to Alaska in 2006 are:

 

Volendam, Zuiderdam, Ryndam, Veendam, Statendam, Oosterdam, Zaandam and Westerdam.

 

Pricing is not yet available in all categories.

 

I've ordered a 2006 brochure and HAL has assured me that it will be here in a couple of weeks.

Dutchman, I checked the HAL site as recently as yesterday and the 2006 schedule isn't there. The basics are in the Planner, but the brochures and web info are still...:confused:

Hi Ruth, I have been checking the HAL site dailey myself and nothing is there as yet? I have been in contact with Ship Services and Groupd sales at HAL today and they said it should be up on the site soon. I call my TA this afternoon and he has the info and the prices for 2006!!! I'm going over to see him tomorrow. Watch for a SMC Cruisers e-mail soon! by the way how are you doing these days? Is the spoonfull of chocolate working for you?

Those of you who do have the 2006 planner - are the RT Vancouver ships for next summer still the Volendam and Zaandam?

There will be three ships on the EXPLORER cruises out of Seattle. Those ships are:

OOSTERDAM

WESTERDAM

ZAANDAM

 

Two ships will do the round trip Vancouver to Vancouver. Those ships are:

VOLENDAM

ZUIDERDAM

 

Three ships will run between Vancouver and Seward on the "glacier discovery"

cruises. Each of these ships show up in Vancouver bi-weekly. The three ships are:

RYNDAM

VEENDAM

STATENDAM

 

I think if you go to the web-site and look through the press releases in the last few months, you will find the information I have just given you. The 2006 cruises for Alaska are not published yet.
