For $107 grab this hotel now. You can't even stay at the "Y" in NY for that kind of $$$$. Even if it's not quite a 4* hotel, it will be just fine.

 

Google Newark airport bus to find the bus. It stops at every terminal and goes to 3 stops in NY. There is also the NJTransit regular train which is $12.50 each way, but you have to take the airport free monorail out to the train station. No biggie if you can manage your luggage.

 

You will need to take Path to Hoboken where you pick up the light rail to 34th St in Bayonne where you will need to call a cab. I have done this trip with a rolling suitcase and rolling backpack and it was just fine. Post back and I will dig up the cab numbers for Bayonne.
