An old hotel next to I-10 and Canal Street is scheduled to be imploded next Sunsay at 8:00 a.m. People coming in from the North or West (and from the airport) will not be effected, but traffic from the East will be re-routed for about two hours.

I just always catch I-12 at Baton Rouge and bypass NO if I'm traveling East. It's such a pain in the neck to drive out of the way to NO...well, that is unless that is your destination! :rolleyes:
