On Deck for The Cure - Dream

Does anyone know if they have the "On Deck for The Cure" walk on the Dream. I am a breast cancer survivor (1 year) and was just curious. Thanks in advance for your help.

Great for you i'm 8 yrs out and the first curise after everything they had the on the deck this year is groving for st jude. next year it should be back to on the deck. this is what i was told.

We did the on deck for thecure thing quite a few times and always struck by how few younger women took part in this.

Carnival has partnered with St Jude so now they do a groove for St Jude!!! The "God Mother " of the Dream is a St Jude employee. I enjoyed the walk though we did it on our last cruise. Looks like this year we will be grooving

Thanks for the info everyone. We have done the walk before and did one on Princess last year. After having breast cancer, it means alot more to us. But, will still do the walk for St Jude. That also is a good place for money to go.

Because Carnival is now associated to St. Jude, so they do that instead.

Have no idea why they subbed the dancing for the walking. Prefer the walking.

 

Interesting that some CD's promote this much more than others

I also prefer the walking but guess other charities should get a chance at a "shout out" on board :)
