Is there priority embark/disembark when booking an inside with CAS? I am thinking of going solo in November..(postcard deal).....

(since my last 2 cruises were suites--I have nothing to go by)

There is a seperate area you go to for check in and then they should show you the waiting area for cas people (if they dont there is a sign). you will be brought on board ahead of the general public (dont think its ahead of the suite guests, thats a different waiting area)

Thanks for the info..!..(does it make a difference that port is NYC?--since I believe different ports have different facilities)

In NYC, CAS guests use the same check-in line as suite guests. When you enter the terminal, look to the right for a person with a clipboard. There will also be a sign that says VIP, Suites, Villas & Casinos at Sea check-in.

The person will check your cabin number and let you through a pathway that bypasses the regular line and takes you right up to the x-ray machine. After that follow the check-in signs to the agent who will check you in.

I guess this depends on the port. In LA and Miami, we had a special CAS line for check in and then had to go back with the rest of the passenger and embark at the same time as them. We were not brought onboard ahead of the general public.
