Shadow in Alaska

We're back on the Silver Shadow in Alaska (currently sitting in Juneau). The ship and crew are still as classy as ever - with a lot of familiar faces. Jimmy is the CD (he just replaced David Lawton who is off on vacation - we passed him leaving as we boarded the ship) and Gilbert is the Maitre d'. One welcome change to the Shadow is the addition of several Illy espresso machines - so I can now get a decent cup of coffee first thing in the morning :)

This is good news LaVieBoheme. I like the idea of the espresso machines.

 

I join the Shadow in Vancouver on 6 September after spending a few days in your fair city, Seattle.:)
