cruiser777 Posted May 12, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2005 Just wondering how much is the limit that you are allowed to take out against your sail and sign card in the CASINO a day. And is it per room or per card. Thanks, SAiling soon and want to make sure I have it all under control.

Flip2cruise Posted May 12, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 12, 2005 I thought it was $1000 a day and if you are a high roller you can get a line of credit.
serene56 Posted May 12, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 12, 2005 I guess that since we were not high rollers and not enrolled in the casino club we were only allowed 250 on the Miracle.

BluexMoon Posted May 12, 2005 #7 Share Posted May 12, 2005 I have a different question about the S&S card. I filled out my S&S form already, leaving in a few days, but now mom says she is paying for "everything" on our S&S accounts. How do I cange the S&S to her credit card insead of mine? Do we just go to the pursers desk right away or should I line out the info I have put on my form and put hers in?
Peggs Posted May 13, 2005 #8 Share Posted May 13, 2005 Be careful with changing your form of payment for Sign & Sail card. I switched mine to my credit card half way through the cruise. I had instructed them to put a certain amount on the credit card and the remainder on my "debit card", the day I got home I found out they did not do as I had instructed. They put only 311.00 on my credit card (which was brand new with a 5,000.00 limit) I was very upset. I don't know where they came up with that amount but the remainder was put on my debit card. I had to immediately transfer funds from savings as my debit card did not even have that much in the account! I called Carnival and basically they said "oh well, nothing we can do about it now"...... so beware! I even had a copy of my request to no avail.......... Just erase or white out your information and put your mom's information. If you made copies you can use a clean copy. They also have them at the terminal, so you can fill a new out when you arrive. As the other poster said, don't wait until the cruise has begun, problems occur when you change midway through the trip.

I guess the worst they would do is make us fill out a new one, right?

Yep, if worse comes to worse, just toss that one and fill out a new one at the terminal.
Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted May 13, 2005 #12 Share Posted May 13, 2005 I thought it was $1000 a day and if you are a high roller you can get a line of credit. It is MOST DEFINITELY $1000 per day on your S&S card (or combination of S&S cards covered by 1 Credit Card). I found this out the "fun way" - and confirmend it again on another cruise! There is NO WAY I would want a CASINO "line of credit" - just more rope to hang yourself with! LOL ;) Tom
