I'm glad I can finally get rid of my Google alert -- "Extreme cruise ship oasis" that I created to let me know when anything popped up on the internet. That just leaves the only other cruise-related alert -- " Royal Caribbean Project Sunshine new ship" :D

I really enjoyed watching that. It is probably the best of the many documentaries showing turnaround day, since it showed a lot of the goings on in the terminal. There is something about the huge scale of the logistics which I find fascinating.

What is fantastic is how the Guest Services Manager was once a baker. It shows you really can move up quickly in an industry like that.

I agree. Think I enjoyed it more than the Mighty Ships documentary on the Oasis' maiden cruise. Wanted to see more.

Glad teddy bear and little girl were re-united.

I have most of it memorized! I am personally fascinated by the people who were denied boarding. There are so many different scenarios that can happen. I have seen this show at least 1000 times and I still cannot figure out how that one guy had his assistant's name one the booking. How is that even possible??? Did he arrive at the pier with no paperwork at all? Maybe he thought that they could just change the name, but he was wrong!

Overall I enjoyed the episode - very interesting to learn about the "behinds the scenes" aspect of how things work, but would really like another episode showing the ship itself, the many choices of things to do onboard, dining options, stateroom options, etc. Seems like the episode currently showing could apply to any cruise ship, just on a smaller scale.
