A friend and I are thinking of doing this cruise on the Spirit in January. I too will be flying American from O'Hare. Where are you staying in Barbados before the cruise?

 

A lot of people do stay at the Hilton. It's a big hotel, but very nice with a good pool area and beach. The good thing is they don't require a minimum stay.

 

Early January is still high season, so it is bit more expensive than usual. I think I've usually paid around $230 a night in early December. In early January I think it was running about $450 a night.

Silver Box now in hand at last !!! The PO tried to deliver yesterday when we were out, so returned it to their office. After a 30 mile round trip in pouring rain with flooded roads and high winds I have managed to collect it... Hooray !
