First RCCL cruise - booked Ben & Jerry's Sweet

The cruise is a Western Caribbean on Freedom of the Seas.

 

While we will have cruised 5 times before (first 5 all being DCL - Dream & Fantasy) this will be our first RCCL cruise.

 

We'd love to hear from folks who have done the Western Caribbean on FoS and also folks who have done both DCL and RCCL cruises.

 

What's not to miss? How do DCL & RCCL compare - please don't give me a blanket this one or that one is better - we love DCL and from what we've seen so far we expect to love RCCL just as much - tell me what's better or not to miss about each as compared to the other!

 

Has anyone stayed in the "Cow Butt Cabin" lately? Are the perks still the same? We're originally from New England so B & J's is close to our hearts! <3

 

How about the Tulum excursion? Any reviews? I've always wanted to see Mayan ruins and I can't wait!!! Any other excursions that shouldn't be missed?
