Wineart Posted July 24, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2012 Is it too risky to book an 11:00am flight out of Amsterdam? I normally wouldn't book anything earlier than noon, but am not finding too many good flight options.
geospyder Posted July 24, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2012 No problem. Presuming you are on the Constellation, you get into port around 5am. Do NOT put your luggage out the night before. Set your alarm early, grab your luggage and just walk off the ship as soon as they are cleared, usually sometime between 5:00 and 5:30. Grab a taxi - expensive - around 50-55 euros - but worth it for the convenience. You'll be at the airport in plenty of time to check in, have a breakfast and still have time to spare. We did this last month for a 10:30 flight.

BBsails Posted July 24, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2012 Another option would be to walk off the ship with your luggage as described in the previous thread, hail a taxi to Central Station (or you could even walk to the station if you don't have much luggage). From there you can catch a very speedy train to the airport for a lot less than E50. Bon voyage!
