moondusterr Posted July 26, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2012 Are the pools filled before the ship sets sail on embarkation day? I am planning on me and the kids wearing bathing suits under clothes but if the pool is not filled than we won't.

Jifner Posted July 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted July 26, 2012 or suits in the carry on, might be more comfortable to change once on the ship!

marshhawk Posted July 26, 2012 #5 Share Posted July 26, 2012 The only time I have not seen the pools filled was sailing from Tampa and the temp was in the 40"s. Freak weather week. Have a great cruise!:)

chipq Posted July 26, 2012 #7 Share Posted July 26, 2012 Especially a good idea if you board before noon. Last cruise on Valor I do not recall the waterslide being open but the pool was. http://luv2cruise.blogspot.com
debster11 Posted July 26, 2012 #8 Share Posted July 26, 2012 On our last Destiny cruise the pool was not filled for some reason but that is the only time I ever saw a pool empty at embarkation.
klfhngr Posted July 26, 2012 #9 Share Posted July 26, 2012 Out of 10+ cruises, I noticed that they are mostly OPEN, not full. People are to busy exploring, unpacking, EATING, etc.... At least that's what I've noticed. Misundertood! I thought you meant FULL of kids/people, lol. My bad. I think you meant full of water, lol. dms_cruisers04 Posted July 26, 2012 #10 Share Posted July 26, 2012 I've been on one also, can't remember which, where the pool wasn't open. It was strange.
moondusterr Posted July 26, 2012 Author #11 Share Posted July 26, 2012 Sorry guys. Yes, I did mean filled with water. Lol. I can remember my first cruise on fantasy I was told they did not fill the pool till ship started moving, since its filled with seawater. But y'all are telling me it should be open. That makes me happy.
