Ketchikan "Sports Fishing Expedition"

Last year in mid July, my DH, DS, FIL, BIL and nephew all went. They had a great time. My son who was 15 caught a king! They weren't even that far out. I think they caught 10 overall.

Has anyone taken this Princess Excursion? If so, whaty was it like? How many people were on the boat? Thanks!

I have not taken the Princess fishing expedition excursion, but I do know that cruise ships charge a lot more than booking your own excursions. the True Alaskan Charters in Ketchikan only charges $120/pp for 2 and $100/pp for 4 people for a 4 -6hour trip. In this time span, Captain Bruce Johnstone will let you decide what you want to do, be it fishing for salmon, halibut (or both), crabbing, sightseeing, etc.

It doesn't hurt to contact him at admin@truealaskancharters.com and let him know Hellen recommended him; he will take good care of you. :)
