Cannes port limited mobility

Recommended Posts

Hi, We will be in port of Cannes in Sept. for the day on Serenade of the Seas. We were just planning on staying around the port area. My husband is not able to do alot of walking. How far from shops and restaurants is the ship. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tracey

Cannes is a tender port so you will first have to negotiate getting on and off the ship's tenders. The tender pier is located in the old port of Cannes and its about the equivlant of a 2 block walk to get out of the port area and past the parking lot. At that point you are next to a marina and there are some cafes/restaurants across the street. It is several more blocks before you start getting to the edge of the shopping area. There are certainly places where you can stop and rest, and if you walk to near the expositon center there is a tourist "train" that you can take as a way to ride around Cannes.
