I started a blog about my trip...started with Barcelona!

Recommended Posts

I started a blog of our trip to Europe and the Carnival Breeze. Our first three days were in Barcelona--so to help people get some ideas here it is:

First day: http://allyouneedistara.blogspot.com/2012/07/first-stop-barcelona.html

Second Day: http://allyouneedistara.blogspot.com/2012/07/seeing-sights-in-barcelona_28.html

Third day: http://allyouneedistara.blogspot.com/2012/07/final-full-day-in-barcelona-before.html

I will be adding in all the stops in the next few days. I just started with these three! Enjoy!

How much time did the bike tour give you at each stop? Were you able to enter any of the sites or was it just a quick stop for info and photos?

We want to take the tour with the same company.

Nice pictures. Did you also get to go to the medieval part of Girona. We went the day before our cruise and it was like we had this medieval city to ourselves.

We did do the medieval part of Girona and loved it! What a gorgeous city!

It depends on the area how much time you spend. We spent some time at La Sagrada (not enough time to clearly go in--you can wait hours in line). But we were given about 30 minutes to walk around in the area. The beach was about 45 minutes-1 hour, so that was nice. You are most of the time, stopping while he talks about it. You might wait a couple extra minutes for pictures and then head off. It was helpful to find out where these places were and we could go back. Unfortunately, we wanted to hit the highlights and did not have time to go back to any of them!
