HoneymoonCruiser5 Posted August 2, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2012 Cruising this month and need some advice/help. My family and I are leaving out of Port Canaveral. There are 8 of us and we're taking 2 cars. Should we drop off our luggage then go park or park and walk with our luggage to check in? All advice is appreciated! WiCruiseDreamer Posted August 2, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2012 I would drop off luggage with all but those needed to drive the cars and then meet them back at the terminal.

MommaOf3Princesses Posted August 2, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2012 Depends what terminal you will be at. The parking for the temporary terminal for Ecstasy was literally steps from where you park. The guy collecting luggage was closer to the parking lot than the terminal. Never mind, I see it's Ecstasy

Thanks This is what we did with our 8 people and two cars. :) We unloaded our luggage, the porters took our checked bags, then 6 of us waited with the carry-ons while the other two parked. I recommend at this point each person have his/her identification and boarding pass ready. This way, those dropped off can enter the terminal while the other two park. Otherwise, those 6 will be standing in the heat and humidity. Which is fun for no one. This also means you'll have to print a boarding pass for each person versus the option of having everyone on your booking on one pass. (Does this make any sense?!) Have a great cruise! RuthlessBoss Posted August 2, 2012 #7 Share Posted August 2, 2012 Go inside, unless you are very heat tolerant. But, the parking lot really is close at that terminal.
