Nymue Posted August 2, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2012 Hello ~ We are booked in a Concierge Class stateroom and thinking of changing to an Aqua Class, any thoughts would be welcome. The price has changed and there is ony a $100 diff. Anne
Northern Aurora Posted August 2, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2012 Since the hubby and I are great fans of Blu we would switch in a heartbeat. Not only do we enjoy the meals, Blu is much quieter with more personal service than the MDR.
Sascol Posted August 2, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2012 Outside of Blu most of the Aqua 'perks' are not worth it - if you prefer to dine in Blu though well worth upgrading on that alone.
David Owl Posted August 2, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2012 I agree, Blu is well worth the extra, as well as a few other benefits David
Nymue Posted August 2, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted August 2, 2012 Other than Blu, what are the other benefits? It seems from the dimensions given, the stateroom & balcony a slightly bigger. Anne
sswright Posted August 3, 2012 #6 Share Posted August 3, 2012 For the slight up charge I would definitely go for the aqua class. We really enjoyed dining in Blu.

dkjretired Posted August 3, 2012 #8 Share Posted August 3, 2012 Besides dining at Blu, what are some of the other Aqua Class perks? Here's a link to the AQ benefits on Summit, they are slightly different than on the S class ships. You also get the Concierge benefits. http://www.celebritycruises.com/explore/ships/detail.do?shipCode=SM#staterooms/explore/ships/stateroomDetails.do%3FcabinType=A1&cabincls=B&shipCode=SM
dln929 Posted August 3, 2012 #9 Share Posted August 3, 2012 Besides dining at Blu, what are some of the other Aqua Class perks? More space! CC class cabins are listed at 191 sq ft with a 41 sq ft balcony; AQ class cabins have 195 sq ft and a 54 sq ft balcony. We had 54 sq feet on the Solstice and trust me, it was small enough. I wouldn't want to drop down to 41 sq ft if I had the choice not to.
Ellen S Posted August 3, 2012 #10 Share Posted August 3, 2012 Just be careful what deck you are on. Deck 9 is below the the buffet. I do CC on the Summit, but would love to try AQ. Try looking at some of the reviews from this summer. AQ on Summit is Deck 9 and Deck 11.
