Alohabus & Luggage Storage

Just read about this on NCL. Has anybody used it? Is it a good way to see lots of different things/places without worrying about luggage on our last day?

Can anyone give me an idea what it will cost for a taxi or some sort of reliable transport from the port to the airport for 2 of us and our luggage?

And is there any good place to eat dinner close to or at the airport between 6:30 and 8:00? Not burger king please. :p Since it is a long flight home we are looking for something filling but where we can wear jeans or other comfortable clothes.

Thanks.

Just got of the POA on 7/28. Stored our luggage at the pier - $5 per piece (regardless of size). Must pick-up bags by 600 p.m., though. If that doesn't work for you, try the service that picks up at the pier and delivers to the airport. Links are all over the posts.

Anyway, after we dropped our bags at the pier following disembarkation (everyone had to be off the ship by 930 a.m.) we took taxi to Honolulu Zoo before returning to pick up luggage to head to airport. Taxi from pier to Zoo is about $20. Same back to pier. Another $20 or so from the pier to the airport.

As for places to eat, if you want to try a seafood place near the pier and before picking up your luggage and/or going to the airport, try Neco's at Pier 38. It's a modern, casual place, located along the fishing docks, with really good seafood (and other things) and a sports bar feel.
