Toulon meeting spot

We will be on the Liberty of the Seas next month meeting our dear friends from South Africa in Toulon while they are touring the French Riviera. Any suggestions on the best meeting place from the port in Toulon.

 

Should we try to meet them near where the ship docks or can you suggest a better meeting place? Thanks for your help.

This is a tough question believe it or not! My ship docked at Toulon itself and there is lots of cafes where your friends could sit and wait for you BUT some ships dock at la sayne sur la mer for Toulon.... So you will need to check your ship is actually going to toulon itself. If it is definitely Toulon I suggest your friends find a cafe where they can see the ship from and watch out for you from there

Thanks for the heads up about the potential different port.

 

I have to imagine that we will be in Toulon as they have passengers boarding and leaving the ship at this port and they would need to post a different embarkation point if we aren't in Toulon.

I was on here looking for any information I might have missed concerning Toulon

and I came across your post.

As you know we are boarding in Toulon and this is the address RCI gave us

Port of La Seyne Sur Mer (Toulon)

 

PIER TERMINAL

Espace Joeseph Grimaud

Corniche Philippe Giovanin

83500 La Seyne Sur Mer

 

This is on the other side of the bay from Toulon center and is either a

ferry,coach,taxi, or bus ride away from the center of Toulon.
