terry2 Posted August 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2012 Apologies if this has already been answered (in which case, please point me in the correct direction), but I couldn't spot it. I'm currently thinking of booking a cruise on the Star and in the 'cheap' inside cabins on decks 4 or 5. Does anyone have any advice about which of these cabins (if any) should be avoided? terry2 Posted August 25, 2012 Author #2 Share Posted August 25, 2012 Just to clarify. My DW is worried that on deck 5 we might be disturbed by noise from the casino etc on the deck above; and that on deck 4 there might be disturbances from traffic through the access point when in port. Has anyone stayed in these areas, who could say if her worries are real? Thanks

terry2 Posted August 25, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted August 25, 2012 Terry, this is the website I look at before booking any cruise. I hope it helps you! Many Thanks! That looks a most useful site. Even more importantly, it indicates that deck 5 has more problems than deck 4; so I now know where to book.
