Just off conquest

Just back and had a great time. Had lots of live music, great punchliner comedians, did not see a large number of chair hogs, had plenty of ice and a friendly steward that would always talk to us. The only thing that we were not overly pleased with was the buffet and MDR. Service seemed to be a bit slow in the MDR and food was good and hot but not great. We thought the grill and pizza was better than the buffet food, but I promise you it's not going to stop us from CCL. We still loved our cruise and can't wait for our next one.

 

This is our second time on Conquest and thought it was as good this time as last time(2009). I was a little worried after all that has been said on CC.

 

If any body have questions I will try and answer them.

We have been on the Conquest 4 times and like that class of ship....Try a Spirit class next time just to get a different feel...Still love Carnival despite all the changes..Dennis

Awesome! Glad you had such a great cruise :) love to hear good feedback....seems like there's been so much negativity here lately.

 

Did you have YTD or early or late seating? If YTD, did you have a long wait? Did you have to arrive really early for seating @ punch liner? Thanks!!

We had ytd and never more than 10 minutes. Last half of the cruise there was no wait at all. Our first couple nights we had really bad service so we skipped a night because we were so disappointed, but went back after that and found a great team that we used the rest of the cruise.

 

The punchliner was in the evenings not the brunch deal. They ran you out after each show but no biggie we always got a seat. We did the kid friendly shows mostly because of our daughter. We would get there 10 or 15 min ahead.
