bizarre question, air mattresses?

My hubby and I do a lot of camping, as well as cruising, so we already have air mattresses.

 

I think we could easily pack them in our garment bags, and wouldn't really take up anymore space, would this be overly weird? It's just that the beds are so darn uncomfortable, last cruise I got hardly any sleep.

You can ask your Cabin Steward for a foam topper. I seen one couple with an air matteress but there was not much space for it unless you are in a Suite.

these are smaller than a twin bed, and would fit on the bed easily. We could just deflate them every moring and tuck them in the closet, if the stewards would be wierded out.

If you want'em, bring'em, but I'd try the foam egg topper. I would leave the Coleman stove home though.

I know it sounds so weird, but I need sleep on my vacations, and my hubby gets grumpy when he is uncomfortable

 

does the egg crate thing really make a difference?

The egg topper made our bed much better.

 

About your signature, it's a shame that some that do have them don't deserve them.

ok, we may forgo the air mattresses and try this egg crate stuff :)

 

And thank you, this has been a very difficult struggle for us, to want what so many people come by so easily, and it is always out of reach...

We also hate the hard beds on-board and have requested and used the foam egg crate topper and it does make it better, in our case, tolerable.
