Dubrovnik tour question.

Recommended Posts

We are at Dubrovnik 8am-6pm in September. We have a tour scheduled which includes a trip to Cavat, then back to do the old city and the wall.

I'm wondering if the Cavat trip will take up too much time.

Can we reasonably fill up our day on our own with just Dubrovnik?

We took the shuttle to the town where we walked the city walls. The views are quite outstanding. We then called for lunch and then toured the town itself. There are lots of things to see in the town. We then made our way back to the ship. I think that if you do another tour first, you may then have to rush Dubrovnik itself and will not benefit.
