Maryfrei Posted April 29, 2013 #4751 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Deck 14 is totally covered little reason for sun loungers but the shade might be nice sitting in Bermuda for 3 days. My concern of the lower decks was privacy. I can't see into any of the balconies below. You can see and chat with others below when they stand at the rail. If you want sun no deck better then 13 with very little cover. No issue fitting two loungers. Sent from my iPhone - Jim Thanks Jim! I ended up moving down to 11. I guess I like a little shade and a little sun, hopefully 11 will do it!
dcollette Posted April 29, 2013 #4752 Share Posted April 29, 2013 I would love to see this as well. My cruise consultant told me it was 2 pullman beds. One on each wall??? Can anyone help! If there are two pullman beds, then we better watch our heads! lol. Sure looks like pretty low clearance from the bed to the pullman from the pictures we've seen so far. Would like to see some pics to confirm if there are two pullmans or how it is arranged for the four person inside rooms.
Andreas Depping Posted April 29, 2013 #4753 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Of course the ship was the star at the inaugural voyage, but it's worth nothing without all the people working for the passengers. And all of them are very friendly and give a perfect smile :-) . It's proved by the photos in this album. Thank you to all of them! http://www.depping-design.de/test/thumbnails.php?album=
eggy Posted April 29, 2013 #4754 Share Posted April 29, 2013 There should be a few in the link in my signature.I did not find the casino special. Ok, I got a small win so I will not complain. The Rock of Ages themed tables are nice to see and it fits in the overall atmosphere of the ship. But nothing outstanding IMHO and not spectacular big. Thanks MICM! l
Red-Sol Posted April 29, 2013 #4755 Share Posted April 29, 2013 I also want to bring my own table, I'll bring a folding one. I wonder if there is a tall table in the aft cabin's that can be moved to the balcony and use instead of that little table. Also, that aft balcony is so huge, I may move my mattress out there if they don't give me a lounger! Hopefully Norwegian will see the light when it comes to furnishings on the larger balconies. Don't know what the cost is for loungers...but in the bulk that they buy them in it can't be that much. Just imagine all the requests of stewards and guest services there will be to supply those loungers. If they do it then there is all the time involved in hauling them around the ship. Seems to me it would be far more cost effective to have them there in the first place! And if they won't do it it will make quite a few people unhappy. Both on a cost basis and customer relations basis it just makes way more sense to furnish those balconies the right way to begin with.

Thanks! Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk

boatbunny24 Posted April 29, 2013 #4762 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Could someone find out the names of the people in the Art Gallery? I am an avid art collector and like to know who the auctioneer and representatives are on board. I will of course meet them before we eve set sail; no doubt, but hate to wait til June! Thank you! tbag124 Posted April 29, 2013 #4769 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Here's the post I made where I comparison of a photo of a typical Epic balcony (standard I think) to a screen grab from a video of a standard Breakaway balcony. SliceOfLife Posted April 29, 2013 #4771 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Some scoop on The Raw Bar Zakarian will be boarding the ship next week when it arrives in New York. In addition to Ocean Blue, he is overseeing the adjacent, a la carte Raw Bar, which also made its debut today for paying passengers. It serves up oysters on the half shell, clams and other seafood items in a stylish bar setting. Prices range from $4.75 for Mussels Tom Ka Gai to $55 for a multiperson "Seafood Plateau" that includes oysters, prawns, clams, lobster and black bass ceviche. http://www.usatoday.com/story/cruiselog/2013/04/28/geoffrey-zakarian-cruise-ship-restaurant/2119229/

Maryfrei Posted April 29, 2013 #4773 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Would someone kindly tell me which venues we may book in advance, as I will have to do that in about 2 weeks. Also, are they offering any dining and beverage packages? Thanks!
