mamagina Posted May 16, 2013 #6454 Share Posted May 16, 2013 Has anyone noticed, or heard, if they are selling the Spa passes pre-boarding in the terminal? In the past they have set up a table , and it was very convenient. I looked for it and didn't see it so I asked each person as we walked on until someone on the ship told me to go directly to deck 15. That doesn't mean they won't do it in the future
mamagina Posted May 16, 2013 #6455 Share Posted May 16, 2013 WHAT! Are you sure about this? that is a much as the spa per day, a CC memeber was told 20 per day That is what I was told and I asked him to repeat it. Gershep Posted May 17, 2013 #6460 Share Posted May 17, 2013 How does the casino work? Do they accept cash and give you chips or coins for slots? Do you have to charge it to your room account?

EaglesWin Posted May 17, 2013 #6462 Share Posted May 17, 2013 How does the casino work? Do they accept cash and give you chips or coins for slots? Do you have to charge it to your room account? The slots accept bills, no coins. Table games will give you chips for your cash when you sit down. If you want to get chips on your ship account you can ask at a table. They'll have you sign a form and give you chips. There is a 3% charge for this.

Enpasfltdll Posted May 17, 2013 #6468 Share Posted May 17, 2013 I'm seriously considering changing my current reservation of 3 aft cabins (2 balcony cabins and an S6 cabin) on Deck 14 to Deck 9. If what I've read is correct, deck 9 has the largest aft balconies and it also looks appears that the S6 cabin on deck 9 is a reversed layout from Deck 14. Where the deck 9 S6 has a window in the bathroom that looks out to sea (which I prefer) and the deck 14 has a window in the bedroom instead. Am I wrong in any of these conclusions? And if not, do you guys see any big drawbacks of being on Deck 9 Aft instead of Deck 14? I just need a reality check before I start rearranging the 3 cabin reservations. Thank you! bear3412 Posted May 17, 2013 #6469 Share Posted May 17, 2013 I'm seriously considering changing my current reservation ..... You are correct and have done your homework.:p The only potential consideration is possible noise from promenade on deck 8 below, and the roof over that area obstructing wake view angle. Also you will have a support pole on balcony. See visual aids for S6 here, showing roof over deck 8 walkway; https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AkRUeqCmOMnGdFZWTVVzZndrc0NkN1N0TGpZb2ZYU2c&single=true&gid=0&output=html You sure they have those cabins still available, all together? Yep, if we're all right, the S6 bathroom on 9 looks out to sea. Plus deck 9 has the deepest and biggest balcony....so you'll all have giant balconies! The only drawback to 9 (in my book) is the overhang that is directly off of the balcony over deck 8, detracting from the view.....but it might be moot with the humongous balconies.:D

jordie Posted May 17, 2013 #6472 Share Posted May 17, 2013 With regards to the #9 comment for the BC categories...I am not so sure the "angled" rooms have a different balcony. The deck plan looks that way but when you see the ship, there are no angles. The cabin closest to the bump out just has a longer wall separating it from the cabin next door. All straight lines. I specifically looked at this getting off the ship on Sunday. But I could be wrong!

bear3412 Posted May 17, 2013 #6475 Share Posted May 17, 2013 With regards to the #9 comment for the BC categories... The balcony footprint and rail are at an angle, making them a touch bigger. A popular cruise ship deck plan website has tags now indicating this info now. ;) I thought I put that photo, floating around, in there. Where is that photo now. arg
