Sea-Tac to Cruise port

We are staying at a Sea-Tac hotel & would like to know the best way to get from the hotel to the port-we leave Friday. Are there buses/shuttles & if so how much or are we better off with a taxi?

The cruiseline usually has transportation from the airport to the port. We prefer taking a taxi though and it should be less than the ship's transfer. We have also booked a town car in the past. It is a little more but very comfortable. It is a long way so it is a fairly expensive trip.

Your probably looking at $50-60 for a taxi . The time could an hour or more depending on the traffic and time of day . You can check with your TA or call RCI to get a transfer price. Most Seatac hotels have transfers to the airport.

You could take the hotel transfer and then board LRT to downtown ($5/person).

Then a short taxi ride to the pier.

If you booked through a TA then he/she could find out the cost of the transfer and book it for you. If you booked through the cruiseline you should be able to get the information by calling RCCL. We have generally found that the transfer costs more than a taxi for the 2 of us and the taxi is much more comfortable.

 

As I recall, the cost for a taxi from the port to the airport was about $50 plus tip and took about 45 min. We stayed in a hotel in town and went to the port from there in a town car. (This was in 2011.)

We stayed at Homewood Suites. They have a package where you can book the room & transportation to the cruise ship terminal. On the return, we took a taxi from the cruise ship terminal to the Arctic Club on 3rd. It was $15. Have a great trip!

thanks for the info! I normallly am not so unprepared, but this is the last element of the trip & I totally forgot about it! I will look into all your suggestions & plan to have it settled by tomorrow!
