Sea kayaking in Halifax

We are going on our first cruise next summer - Boston to Montreal - and I am just doing a little budgeting. DH would like to try the sea kayaking. Has anyone done this excursion? And any idea of the cost? I'm not concerned about whether it is expensive or not, just trying to get a ballpark amount since the price is not listed. And, if he wants to do the kayaking but I just want to take the drive and wait for him, is it the same cost? Was it enjoyable?

This year (in Halifax) the cost is listed at $139.95/person (US).
