Best Conch Chowder / Fritters

I haven't been in Key West since 1968 and as I know the old bars I frequented are long gone, I am sure the places for Conch have changed.

 

Any recommendations ?

All the conch is now imported into the keys. So anywhere you get conch, it will not be fresh keys conch.

 

The cracked conch and fritters at Half Shell are good. It is located on the bight. There are a number of other places that still serve conch, but it is getting harder to find as the years go by.

I stopped in there last week and they were delicious! :D

 

Key West Conch Fritters over by the Aquarium is also good.

Thanks Tom and everyone else. So I take it is no illegal to harvest conch in the Keys ??? I remember having places all over the island that had fresh conch. Wow, time passes ...... Now if they could put the Boca Chica Bar back in business.
