We're interested in visiting the Nature Reserve at Valdes Peninsula. I heard its a long drive, but would like to know how long. If anyone has done this, could you please let me know the length of the drive and if you feel it was worth it. Anything else of interest in Puerto Madryn?

Thanks,

Susan

About 2 hours to the end each way, 1 hr for Punto Norte to Punto Delgado or v-v and 2 hrs back. Maybe slightly less depending on how fast you drive. Roads are gravel once you pass the turnoff to Puerto Piramides. There's a dirt road short cut to get to the park entrance, as the recommended route takes you out to the highway and then back in. There's a natural history museum or two in or near town but I've never been to any of them.
