Does Carnival have repeat cruiser perks like RCCL?

I just completed my first cruise on a Carnival ship and was wondering if Carnival has repeat cruiser perks....like a coupon book for onboard discounts and coupons for future sailings.

 

I will be on the Paradise ship again in July and was wondering about this...

You get a gold sail & sign card and small discounts/upgrades on selected cruises. Some suspect, they may be going to a program similar to Princess in the future, but that is just speculation.

ok, guess I'm totally out of the loop - it's been 2 years since I've been on Carnival. When did this "gold card" start? And what is all about? I was under the impression that Carnival had no repeat customer perks other than the Repeater's Cocktail Party. Can someone elaborate what this new system is all about and what I might expect on the Liberty on 7/20 - I'm already in a Category 11, doubt it will be an upgrade!

Carnival just started the gold sign & sail cards in April... I sailed on the April 4th cruise on the Legend and had one. Other than that... there perks have not improved any.

Gold S&S card, Platinum for 10+ cruises (rolling out September).

 

Past cruiser reception and lapel pin.

 

Occasional discounts on future sailings (usually less-desireable dates).

Hopefully they'll get something similiar like RCCL. I love that coupon book that you get onboard RCCL.

 

I know this sounds mad but because of the perk program on RCCL its fueled me to get more cruises with them under my belt. :D

how do they keep track of who has previously cruise with them before? I think they ask for the customer #, but I dont even know what my # is....

I like booking on board and getting the on board credit plus the discount on balcony cabins once you reach Platinum. Throw in the priority check-in and boarding and it makes for a nice perk.

:confused: do you have to tell them that you have cruised before? This is my second Fantasy Cruise 6-26. We went in June of 03. How do I let them know I am a past guest? I used a different travel company. Thanks for any info!!

Sassiecruiser, yes, you need to remind them. There is a check box on your docs when you fill them out (or fill in online). Pretty easy.
