Softtop67 Posted August 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2012 We did a HAL cruise on the Nieuw Amsterdam in the Med and will be doing a NCL carribean one in the spring. We absolutely loved the private cabana and was wondering if NCL has a similar offering. We will be on the NCL Dawn
LadyShiva Posted August 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2012 Here's a good thread on HAL's cabanas: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1315254 versus the latest about NCL's cabanas: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1650862 I hope that helps you decide. :)
Softtop67 Posted August 22, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted August 22, 2012 Thank you for your quick reply but I was referring to the retreat cabanas that are on the ship itself.
LadyShiva Posted August 22, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 22, 2012 No, there's no retreat cabana on the NCL ships, but there is a Haven that you might care to investigate: http://thehaven.ncl.com The prices for villas with Haven access are more than the retreat cabanas on HAL, though. Softtop67 Posted August 22, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted August 22, 2012 Ah thank you yes this is what we were looking for unfortunately for us not offered on the NCL Dawn
jdvmd Posted August 22, 2012 #6 Share Posted August 22, 2012 No, there isn't a private cabana on the Dawn.
Zeta3 Posted August 22, 2012 #7 Share Posted August 22, 2012 I love the HAL retreat cabanas. Unfortunately nothing like it on the Dawn. I'd say the closest offering would be Posh on the Epic since it is usually available for a small number of non-Haven guests to purchase access.
