RCCL shuttle in Venice from Port to San Marco Square?

Has anyone docked in Venice with RCCL recently? Did you use the RCCL transport from the ship to San Marco Square? If so, what was the cost? Also, how far from the square did it drop you? I read somewhere on CC there was a 15 minute walk from the drop off point to the San Marco Square. Would the Vaparetto/Aliliguna line be better?

Thanks!

Just returned from a 12 night cruise on Serenade of the Seas that had an overnight in Venice. The cost for the shuttle is $25.00/pp for one day or $45/pp for both days.

The shuttlle drop off is very convenient to San Marco square. I would put it at a 5-10 minute walk. The drop off is right in front of the Statue of Victor Emmanuel II (man on a horse). I am not familiar with the Aliliguna line so I can't help you there.

Thanks so much!!!

By the way, how was the tendering?

We are diamond members so all we had to do was show our room key as that gave us priority tendering, no tickets required. I can't speak for those that had to get tickets.

There was a lot of tendering on this cruise.....Split, La Spezia (Florence), Cannes but it seemed to run smoothly.

Hope that helps.

We used Aliliguna in May from San Marco Square to cruise port it stops right inside the port were the ships dock,it cost 8 Euros. Also used it from airport to San Marco Square for our 1 night stay before cruise, would use them again. :)

Was it 8 euros per leg/trip or per day?
