Ncl gem advice!

I am getting stuff together for my wedding aboard the norwegian gem. I am new to NCL and have only cruised with RCCL, but NCL had the right price and leaves from New York.

 

Are there certain theme nights that people should bring stuff for? I want to include this is the letter I send along with my invitations.

 

Also, How is the night life. My fiance and I are 24 and 26.

They have a white hot party where everyone wears all white. Congrats on your wedding! I wish you a long, happy marriage. Let us know how it goes on the ship.

There are generally no theme-related events or parties, other than the "White Hot Party" mentioned above (which is a LOT of fun ;) )

 

There are no "Formal" nights, either, but they do have "Dress up, or Not" nights, when some folks to dress to the nines, while others remain resort casual, etc. That's the great thing about NCL Freestyle cruising! You're free to... whatever.

 

Nightlife is generally more than adequate to satisfy my 27 year old son and his girlfriend, as well as my 22 year old son, so I'd say you'll enjoy the nightlife onboard. They have plenty of different shows in the theatre, as well as various spots all over the ship with musicians playing piano or guitar and singing, etc. Truly, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
