Gem - Complimentary Bottle of Wine for Early Diners?

I recall reading that it's a common NCL practise to offer a complimentary bottle of wine to couples who book dinner for 5.30pm or 6pm in the speciality restaurants.

 

Is this current practise aboard the Gem? Hoping so...

It's usually offered on the first night when the specialty restaurants are mostly empty and it's lobster night in the MDR, and sometimes through the week, depending on the itinerary and bookings.

It was available every night last week!:)

It was available any night on the Pearl recently. Be aware that the wine is pretty awful. We were also given the choice (if we didn't want the bottle of wine) of one free cocktail for each person, or one free bottle of beer.

It was offered on the Dawn. If you didn't want the wine but another bottle from the NCL wine list, you received 20 percent off the latter bottle.

We received complimentary bottle of wine in Teppanyaki restaurant, last week on Gem.

I wish NCL would be a little more conscious of single travelers. Yes, I know the Epic has single cabins but there is usually a 2 for 1 dinner deal or as mentioned a free bottle of wine for a couple. As a single I wasnt entitled to that. Can you beleive it.
