Question about Transportation & Parking from New Orleans Hotel

I was looking to stay at the Holiday Inn in Metairie since I saw some places mention that they provide transportation to and from the hotel, and let you park up to 10 days.

 

Is that true regardless where it is booked from, or is it only from certain sites?

 

Is that a preferred hotel that provides parking/transportation to and from for a Carnival cruise, or is there one that people like better?

I booked there for our NCL cruise. We booked direct with NCL and when I booked with the hotel she said she didnt need our cruise information right then.
